Zest Ladies Health and Fitness Club was formed in 2008.  Pauline Lacey and Jenny Roberts decided to form a very different type of fitness club and with hard work, grit and determination their ideas were realised; just 6 weeks later in December 2008.


Many of the original 40 members are still with the Club today.  There have been changes but in principle the Club still works on the sound theory “Ladies only, no mirrors, amazing trainers who put you first and help motivate you even when you really don’t want to exercise!


Pauline Lacey now sole proprietor of Zest says “Zest is really different from other gyms’ we believe correct exercise instruction is vital to members’ progress.  We never leave members to exercise alone (unless they really want to), we offer personal and group training which really maximises your change of success” and hourly sessions can be booked during opening hours.

Zest has resistance machines and cardio vascular exercise equipment but these are only used as a small part of your hourly workout.  We keep boredom to a minimum because we know that boredom is why ladies give up with gyms.


Our low monthly rates entitles you to 3 sessions per week (that is under £3.00 for personal training!)
